A Personal Message from the Minister

We are living in dark and terrible days.  The bible reminds us that prior to the second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ,

…perilous times shall come… (2 Timothy 3:1)

Those ‘times’ are almost upon us.  This generation could witness the catastrophic events that usher in the glorious appearing and everlasting reign of the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth.  It is of vital importance that we are ready for that event.  Such readiness Scripture commands,

Be ye also ready for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. (Matthew 24:44)

The wonderful message of the Gospel is that God through the Person and Work of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, has made provision for that day.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners… (1 Timothy 1:15)

He came to give His life a sacrifice to God for our sin.  He went to the Cross and there He paid the price of sin, which was death.

the Wages of sin is death… (Romans 6:23)

God has accepted that sacrifice on behalf of guilty sinners (you and me), and now all who repent of their sin and by faith receive Jesus Christ into their heart will be saved from all sin.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.(Romans 10:13)

May I warmly and sincerely invite you and your whole family to our church, praying you will be blessed and helped through the preaching of the Glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.  A cordial and friendly welcome is extended to all in the Lisburn area at our services.

Yours in the Service of Christ

Rev. Thomas Martin
