Special Testimony Evening – Mr Paul McManus

25 October, 2015 by Web Admin

Lisburn Free Presbyterian Church on Sunday 29th November 2015 at 7.00pm

Paul was brought up in a deeply religious and strict Roman Catholic home. Yet despite his devotion and good works Paul could not find real peace with God. Upon hearing the Gospel of the free grace of God in Christ, Paul was brought to the realisation that true peace was to be found in Christ alone. Paul received the Lord Jesus Christ into his heart and life and experienced “peace through the blood of Christ’s cross.” Come and hear the remarkable story of a sinner who now has peace with God.

“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ” (Romans 5:1)

Special Testimony Evening with Mr Sammy Heenan – 17th May @ 7.00pm

13 May, 2015 by Web Admin

Your Personal Invitation to a Special Testimony Evening Lord’s Day 17th May at 7.00pm with Mr. Sammy Heenan

Lisburn FP Sammy testimony-1

LISBURN FREE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH
(Just off Knockmore Road beside Supervalu)

Sammy’s story is indeed a hugely distressing one yet not without hope. He lost his mother when quite young and was brought up largely by his grandmother until sadly she passed away.

Tragically, Sammy was orphaned at 12 years old when his father was shot twice in the head at point blank range by a lone gunman outside his Legananny home in 1985.

In the midst of great loss and heartbreak Sammy came to know Christ as his own and personal Saviour.

Come and hear how the story unfolded

“…we must be saved…” (Acts 4:12)
