Re-opening of Church
The Presbytery of our denomination has spent much time in prayer, consultation and discussion regarding the situation in our land with regards to covid19.
They have agreed to the partial reopening of our churches at the beginning of March.
We will therefore be able to meet publicly for prayer on Monday night 1st March at 8pm and on the following Lords Day 7th March at 11.30am and 7.00pm.
The return to worship will be gradual so no other meetings will be held outside of these until further notice.
Presbytery advise also that the proposed opening is dependent on no sudden spikes with regards the infection rate.
Please pray that things will continue to settle and that we will be able to meet on the said date and continue to thereafter. Pray that the Lord will be gracious and that His hand of protection and blessing will rest upon us and all who love Him in sincerity and truth.
Yours in Christ
Rev. Roger Higginson

————– 9th January 2021 —————
Due to the continuing rise in Covid statistics and the recent government legislation regarding lockdown, the presbytery of the Free Presbyterian Church have decided for the sake of public health to close our churches.
This closure will be under constant review and we hope to be able to open as soon as is possible.
This closure will take place with immediate effect so there will be no congregational meetings on the Lords Day 10th January.
Services will be available online via Facebook and SermonAudio. We trust that you will be able to join us.
It is with a very heavy heart that we make this announcement. Please be assured of my continued prayers for you all as a congregation.
I am available if anyone needs to contact me.
Yours in Christ

————– 28th November 2020 —————
Owing to recent restrictions issued by the Government in light of the ongoing CoVid-19 pandemic, it is with regret that we will not be able to meet publicly for the next two Lord’s Days.
We trust that we will be able to worship together again as a church on Sunday 13th December.
Both our Lord’s Day services will be available online through the usual mediums as will the Monday Night Bible Study.
Please pray in earnest that God will be merciful to us and to our land that has so sadly departed from Him and is now reaping something of the consequences.
Remembering you all in prayer.
Yours in Christ,
Rev. Roger Higginson

Update to Covid-19 Guidelines
In light of the recent changes to Covid-19 guidelines issued by the government it is now required that people attending our services should wear a mask when ENTERING and LEAVING the building.
It is not yet a requirement that masks are worn during the services, but attendees are welcome to do so should they desire to.
We would ask however that masks be worn until seated and put on again before leaving your seat.
Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
